FUN FACT: Carrot seeds are so small that about 2,000 seeds can fit in a teaspoon.

Super Powers: comes in a Vitality version; mildly sweet aroma with earthy, herbaceous notes; produced from distillation of the seeds of the wild carrot plant. 

Unsung Hero #8 - Cardamom
FUN FACT: One of the most prized spices in ancient Greece and Rome, cardamom was cultivated by the king of Babylon around the 7th century BC.
Botanical Family: Zingiberaceae
Plant Origin: Guatemala, Sri Lanka
Extraction Method: Steam distilled from seeds
Super Powers: comes in a Vitality version; uplifting, refreshing, and invigorating to the senses; a member of the ginger family with a spicy aroma. 

Unsung Hero #9 - Hinoki
FUN FACT: Hinoki wood has been used to construct many holy temples in Japan, including Horyuji Temple and Osaka Castle, and is said to be the “tree where God stayed.” Hinoki wood is resistant to decay and carries a symbolic reputation of being immortal.
Botanical Family: Cupressaceae
Plant Origin: Southern Japan
Extraction Method: Steam distilled from sustainably harvested, culled wood
Super Powers: calming and centering; steam distilled from Japanese cypress trees; great addition to a DIY tummy roller.
