How did I get started on this adventure?  I told a bit of my getting started story in my last blog post.  It started at a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meeting in November 2017.   Between November 2017 and September 2020 I focused on getting the toxins out of our house through household products like our cleaners, shampoo, body wash, dish soap, and laundry soap.  In September 2020 I decided to join Rachel Maser in a Clean Food Challenge.  The idea behind Rachel's plan is that food should be as unprocessed when bought as possible.  Food should be raw, organic, no added preservatives, no sugar, meat should be grass-fed, antibiotic free, etc.  I love this idea, and it follows right along with what I've come to expect from Young Living with their Seed to Seal promise  and I have begun slowly switching our food products out.  For me it had to be a slow switch over, I could not justify throwing everything we own away, just like when we changed over all our shower products.  I have also started following my friend Gina Sullivan and her Mom's Full Plate Facebook Group and the best is she introduced me to WildTree.  WildTree is a company dedicated to providing organic (and most are preservative free) spices and sauces.  I am in love with their Garlic and Herb and Italian Dressing mix.  I am slowly trying new things and as this blog goes, I'll share with you what I'm doing, trying and loving.

Next I will talk a little about some of the chemicals that are in our products and foods that really really should not be, and why.
